Standard underlying database: The main database where all the data is connected together is Microsoft SQL Server with an easily understood structure and no complicated functions or stored procedures. InContekst system provides the data manipulation functionality, performs calculations, creates reports etc., but the data itself can be accessed like any other company database.
Hosting: We host the database in MS Azure environment, or you can host it in your own environment. In the latter case, you will also need to host the application itself on Windows operating system.
Direct connection to data: Our dashboards, data modelling and exploration functions are pretty good, but you can connect your favourite tools directly to the database. When using your own computations, let the system accept parameters, prepare the dataset from multiple sources, invoke your compute, and present the results.
